Little help pls

Hey guys,

Couple of questions if you don't mind:

I noticed it was pretty simple to just use regular WPF controls within the Fluent Ribbon...is there any reason for not doing so (in my case I need to use ComboBoxes which don't seem to be complete in Fluent)?

Also, is there any way to change the backstage tab's text from "File" to say "Home" without having to modify the source for fluent?

Lastly...I tried to set the IsBackstageOpen property of the Ribbon to true and it throws a null exception error saying that "element" cannot be null.  Is this by design?  If so how can I correct this behavior.

Thanks!

Hello, Aj.

Yes, Fluent Ribbon allows to use regular WPF controls inside RibbonGroupBox. The reasons to make Fluent-specific controls:

- support Quick Access Toolbar addition
- support KeyTips navigation
- support different sizes: Small, Middle, Large
- and so on

Also, is there any way to change the backstage tab's text
Yes, it will be

I tried to set the IsBackstageOpen property of the Ribbon to true and it throws a null exception
Please, add this to issues tracker http://fluent.codeplex.com/WorkItem/List.aspx (add stacktrace and how you are set: in XAML, code)
