Does it work with other windows?
I don't have a touch device to try this...

I can maximize a normal window by sliding with my finger to the top of the screen but I cannot do the same to this office 2013 style window, because it return to normal size when my finger leave the screen.

If you have not a touch screen device, you can install Microsoft Remote Desktop to you mobile phone, then you can use your phone to link to your Windows device. Your phone will become a touch screen Windows device.
