Jun 3, 2010 at 7:52 PM

Hi,

Thanks for the nice control.

1. How to change the RibbonWindow Icon? I have source code and Icon is different that the default icon. But in my project when i set Icon in XAML it is not showing up.

2. Same issue with Title. I have set the title in XAML it is not showing up as well.

I have the latest version as of today (June 3rd, 2010)

Thanks

Can you be more precise?

Code from out project:

<Fluent:RibbonWindow
Title="{Binding Path=Caption}"
Icon="/path_to_the_icon.ico"

....

It just works...

yes i did the same thing it doesn't work. Is there a way i can attach the sample project?

<fluent:RibbonWindow x:Class="WpfApplication8.Window1"

   xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"

   xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"

   Title="Window1" Height="300" Width="300"

       xmlns:fluent="clr-namespace:Fluent;assembly=Fluent" Icon="Orion.ico">

   <Grid>

   </Grid>

</fluent:RibbonWindow>

Title and Icon both are blank only i can see are min, max and close buttons on the right.

I find that I get the default icon when I run from within Visual Studio, but if I launch the exe from outside, the custom icon shows up. Not sure why that should be.

1. If we set the Icon in Project properties i can see that in exe as well.

2. But the title is still a problem. Even in sample Source code provided in this site, in XAML Title of window is set to "Fluent Ribbon Control Suite 1.3" but looks like Window is not actually using it instead Ribbon control uses it and displays the text. But in case were there is no Ribbon control what is the solution?
