Fluent ribbon vs. Microsoft's promised equivalent

1) I assume use of this ribbon requires the same licencing that Microsoft's WPF ribbon does?
2) There are a number of differences between this ribbon and the MS equivalent (as seen in Office 2010). Does this team have a position on this?
3) The long-promised Microsoft WPF ribbon will also be free -- and I suppose could come out any moment. Thoughts? Thx

Hello, Dgennetten.

1) Our license is Ms-PL. So you can use it freely. However, if you want to ship your application with Microsoft Fluent(tm) UI you should accept their license. It's also free and all of you must do is to follow the official guidelines.
2) What kind of differences?
3) The long-promised Microsoft WPF ribbon could come out any moment last 3 years. We were also waiting for MS Ribbon, but we made our choice in November, 2009. So we are now developing and shipping our applications with Fluent Ribbon Control Suite.
