UI Automation

Hi, we run into the problem that we couldn't open the Fluent backstage under File through automation with project White.
So we changed the Fluent:Backstage.Template and removed:

<ContentPresenter x:Name="contentPresenter" ContentSource="Header" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center"/>

and added:

<Label x:Name="contentPresenter" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="FileButton" Content="{TemplateBinding Header}" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" />

This will make the File tab visible for use with automation frameworks.

Just tought I'd post this for other people ;-)

Hi Zenuka,

Would you be able to share some insight/code example on how to use fluent with White? I started using the core ui automation and had no issues using fluent menu buttons. With White however I'm unable to get to the button, a call to mainWindow.Get<Button>("buttonname") always returns null.
